Film screening

Many ways of showing films within one's business are covered by what is institutional film screening and rights for that are required. Regardless of whether it is spontaneous or planned with or without a clear purpose. It can be anything from an old children's film, a documentary, a classic or the latest and hottest blockbusters. This applies regardless of whether the film is played from a DVD, Bluray, streamed, or shown from, for example, SVT Play.

Book a single movie screening

  • Single screening is suitable for those of you who want to watch films in your business, but you only show films once a year.
  • The film screening is closed to a limited and predetermined group.

 

Sign Swedish Film License annual agreement

For those of you who want to show films regularly to a closed group, the Swedish Film License is our best solution. It gives you the right to show films from the film companies that are part of the Licensing Cooperation, as often as you wish.

All types of schools and preschools can sign a Swedish Film License Agreement. Swedish Film License Agreements are signed for recurring closed film screenings that occur within the business and within the business's premises.

Schools and preschools, without a central Swedish Film License Agreement, sign an agreement for each individual school and must cover the current number of enrolled students. The license agreement applies to screenings within the school's premises at a given address. The license agreement also applies to after-school centers connected to the school. However, the license agreement does not apply to after-school centers, or other activities located in the school's buildings or area.

Swedish Film has signed central agreements that cover all municipal school activities in several places in the country. We have also signed a large number of central agreements with private actors in the education sector. Agreements have also been signed with several study associations, student associations, etc.

The Swedish Film License Agreement does not apply to School Cinema screenings.
Swedish Film collaborates with most AV/Mediacenters around Sweden. Schools that are affiliated with an AV/Mediacenter and only use the AV/Mediacenter's films receive all the rights they need through them.

Screenings of the Swedish Film License may only take place for the activity for which the agreement is signed.
The screenings of the Swedish Film License do not apply to screenings of films that are public, i.e. open to the public.
