Film screenings in municipal and state areas are copyrighted within the institutional rights area. Through Swedish Film you can book film screenings that give the authors legitimate compensation and strengthen copyright, we ensure that the screenings take place according to the conditions set by the film companies. Safe for you as the business manager.
Showing films for groups within municipal & state areas is covered by what is considered institutional film screening and rights for it are required. Regardless of whether it is spontaneous or planned with or without a clear purpose. It can be anything from an old children's film, a documentary, a classic or the latest blockbusters. This applies regardless of whether the film is played from a DVD, Bluray, streamed or shown from, for example, SVT Play.
For those of you who want to show films regularly to a closed group, the Swedish Film License is our best solution.
It gives you the right to show films from the film companies that are part of the Licensing Cooperation, as often as you wish. Swedish Film License agreements are signed for closed film screenings that take place within all public administrations where you want to show and use films frequently.
Agreements are signed for each individual location where film screenings occur. State the number of employees or the number of people enrolled/admitted in the business. Swedish Film has, among other things, signed agreements that cover all film operations within the Armed Forces. Contact us for more references.
Screenings of the Swedish Film License may only take place for the activity for which the agreement is signed.
The screenings of the Swedish Film License do not apply to screenings of films that are public, i.e. open to the public.
